5 Must Have Shoes for Winter

As a former buyer of women’s shoes, I have spent a lot of my days looking over every trend, every detail when it comes to shoes — and I have to say, I believe shoes are one of the most important pieces when it comes to styling a unique and meaningful ensemble. I especially love statement footwear that help to tell the story of my style. Today, I wanted to share 5 of my favorite shoes that I am wearing for the winter 2022.

1 — White Cowgirl Boots. These boots are the epitome of my personal style and a shoe I have been reaching for non-stop since I received them in the mail (they were an early birthday present from my love, and I am so grateful!) These are the most beautiful, well-made boots — and I love the intricate stitching. I’m so glad the western trend has fully caught on, but you’ll catch me wearing these in many years to come.

2 — White Sneakers. Sneakers are always a staple for me; I love them paired with dresses for a casual look, or with jeans as a dressed-down option. These carry me from season to season and have been in my closet for ages. It might be time soon to replace them, but for now, I’ll be wearing these on repeat, too.

3 — Brown Croc Tall Boots. While my style lends itself to bohemian, western styles, it also has this chic and more feminine appeal as well. These boots fit just that need! I’m very drawn to the color chocolate brown, and the crocodile material is very on-trend, yet, this is another pair that is very well-made and will remain in my wardrobe for seasons to come.

4 — Cowhide flats. While My natural tendency is to prefer a heeled shoe to elongate my almost-petite frame, I lean towards these flats more often in the fall and winter than any other season. I love the print and it is the perfect accent to a neutral look, adding another texture and a pop when needed.

5 — Black square toe booties. Another staple of mine is this pair of black square toe booties. These were a purchase last season, but I just don’t know that I will ever stop wearing them. There are so many details that are so interesting about these shoes, aside from the square toe — the beautiful, quality leather, the stud detailing — they are just an elevated version of your everyday black bootie and one that is always on rotation for me.

So there you have it — five of my staple shoes for the fall and winter season. Though, my shoe collection is far bigger, this gives you an insight into the must-have pieces for me.
