DIY Dry Shampoo

IMG-9058.JPG

When I began my journey with finding cleaner products, one thing I assumed I would never be able to replace was my dry shampoo. If you’re like me and try and wash your hair as little as possible (it’s actually healthier for your hair!) then you too are probably a big dry shampoo user.

I found this simple DIY that actually replaced my need for purchasing dry shampoo, and I am so glad to have found it! It works well, is much cheaper, and eliminates my aerosol container usage, which are all wins for me.

Here is what you need to make this simple DIY:

A container of choice (I use an empty, unused spice jar)

Cocoa powder for darker hair

Corn Starch for light hair

2-3 drops of Cedarwood essential oil

2-3 drops of Lavender essential oil

2-3 drops of Rosemary essential oil

Mix together and store. I use an unused spice jar.
